Who Joins Kiwanis?

Kiwanis club members believe in service. They care about children. They're interested in the community around them—because the community matters to them.

They're people like you. Friends. Neighbors. Volunteers who want to make a difference. And they love to see the difference they make when they work together.

YOU can make a difference.

Please join us for our Annual Installation & Awards Banquet as we celebrate the past year, retire old board members, install new ones, hand out some awards, and gear up for the year to come! Also, AGAIN THIS YEAR, we will be featuring some of our new fundraising items (and samples) that you will definitely want to order for Christmas gifts (or for yourself…we won't tell). All of the proceeds will go to our club, which will allow us to serve the children of Fort Worth better.

We will be holding the event on Monday, September 16th at 6:30pm at Buffalo West (our regular club meeting location).

A new change for this year: Dinner will not be a set menu, the whole menu will be available to us. Payment will be due for your meal at the end of the banquet and not billed to your dues statement.

Please bring friends and/or significant others. This event is not only open to members, but "friends of Kiwanis" as well.

Please RSVP "Yes" or "No" by Monday, September 9 to ensure seating availability.

There will be no September monthly meeting, but join us October 7th for our guest speakers, Ms. Darla Akin, Grant Manager and Iris Bruton, Client Assistance Manager for Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County. Please join us as we hear about all the great things happening with Meals on Wheels!

Upcoming Activities

Kiwanis clubs are volunteer-based. Club meetings offer an atmosphere of fun, learning and fellowship. Kiwanis members typically volunteer each month to assist with club service projects.
